{112/366 | Texx} Girls ROCK!

Here’s a series of the Mini-Me at her school’s “Innovation Faire”. The awesomeness that was experienced this fine Saturday could not be conveyed. Just know this, my baby girl is destined for greatness! These are her first images as a Rock Star. She was the youngest one there and signed up for all three workshops – guitar, drums, vocal (I didn’t think she could make it the 3 hour span). Tisk Tisk Mommy! I’ve never seen her more focused in her life. The first rule of Girls Rock was ‘No Apologies!’ Woop. If you mess up keep on going and yell “Rock On!”. Empower our little girls, empower our women, WOOP!

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
