{125/366 | Texx} Sweet Sunsets

Sounds like tonight’s skies were filled with delight from coast to coast, and this was what was happening in between! At the pool again, this pic is the sun melting into the pool tonight.
Today  was a sweet, sweet, day. Even if I did botch-up, BIG TIME, by missing Mini-me’s Taekwondo Belt Test with a wrong assumption about location.The Hubs & I hit ‘The Avengers’ (IMAX-3D, mmm hmmm) this AM. After my Taekwondo botch up then in Austin traffic….We got home on this 96 degree day. Waited for it to cool down a bit and headed to the pool late. The kids went to bed later than ever, but we had a TIME! Sometimes rules are meant to be broken. Especially when that means sunset horsing around at the pool & explaining what a moonbow is to my 5 year old. Yes indeed, it was  grand day. Happy Friday!

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.

    So lovely. I got a few similar to this in Hawaii. Nothin’ like sunset by the pool!! (especially if it’s with a tropical drink in your hand!)
