{103/366 | JJ} In circles
When we were at the market in Kona, this REALLY sweet older Hawaiian woman, who sold her handmade jewelry and wares there, gave the boys each a shell and anemone spine. It was SOOOO sweet, and convinced me to buy (or actually have hubby buy) a pair of her gorgeous earrings.
The pattern on the shell, though made me think about how I’m going in circles since returning….with fighting bedtime, with some students at school, with the never-ending tasks that plague us all. I’m pretty sure I’ve identified this as a shell from a ‘fighting conch’….which seemed fitting since that’s how I feel. Taking a deep breath, diving in, and fight my way through what needs to get done!
