{12/365 | texx} Prepare – For Anything

We had a cold snap here. Of course, it was freezing through the holidays while my fam was here. But minus my Wo-manmade stuff; there’s been no frost. Except Monday morning. EEEEEE,  I dropped Mini-me to be carpooled into school then decided to check on my bare trees; the ones I like to snap once in a while. There was glorious frost while the sun rose in the background. Just follow the bokeh and everything ‘ll be alright.

I’ve been unable to shoot here since they’re building something in the area. So I shall prepare for anything, and hope that my loverly field and dead trees will remain for just a while longer.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
