{138/366 | Texx} Light at the End of the Tunnel

I dropped the Crazy off at school today and then on my drive home, I finally pulled over to check out an area that I’ve been wanting to. Well…Check out.
I was taking pics in this tunnel when two men ran through. At the end of the tunnel I overheard, one say to the other, “DON’T give up! You can do this!” It took me aback. They looked so strong and confident running by me. I’m so happy I overheard this. It made me feel good about the times I want to give up. I hope to remember it, the next time I might think of giving up.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
