{141/366 | JJ} My favorite tree

I’ve posted this tree before, but now it has LEAVES! Happy spring amazing tree. I have to say, this is my first spring since beginning all of my photog classes, and I’ve observed it in an entirely different manner.  I love noticing things that I had not before, and feel more present…witnessing of the awaking of life from all my dormant little plant friends.

Oh, and I ‘wogged’ a 12 K today.  My speedy Prof and chauffeur was busy spotting cute guys in front of her and leaving them in her wake.  I, on the other hand, did my very best to catch up with the 70 year old man in the bright orange vest.  Having trained -10 percent, I felt a sense of accomplishment just completing it, and enjoyed the scenery as I walked portions in the spirit of self-preservation (I’m still ridiculously sore today, however.)   Next year…. 🙂
