{14/366 | Texx} Aloha

[flickrgallery setid=”72157628874147051″ limit=”15″] {These are all SOCC- I cropped one or two but I hope to get to some editing soon}

Early this morning towards the end of Hello Dolly, Mama B took her last breath. The struggle, the pain, the confusion just floated away.

I went to the water to bid Aloha to my sweet Mama B, to Baby A and to my Big Bro. I captured sunrise this morning on the pond & I felt them there.  Then made my way into the city. With flowers in my hands, tears in my eyes and love in my heart, from the banks of the Colorado River, I yelled ALOHA as flung in the flowers.  The ducks didn’t startle, like they were expecting me to do that. Soon after the University Crew Team swished by and as I walked back over the bridge these two swans started swimming my way then into the light.

Aloha my friends Thank You so very much for ALL of your support and love.  ♥Texx

Aloha Mama B, Baby Aaron  & Big Brother…Until we meet again.

I have many photos from today and I just saw this first because it was one of my last images. This is pretty much SOCC I had to bump up the exposure a tad, but that’s it. I will add a gallery I hope by tonight. I choose this one now, because I love the dark into light and the sparkling star-bursts for having my aperture shut down.

Howdy! Obsessed with all things photography. Love to teach, and heal through this art. #photogHER2Day Coming to you from Austin, Tx. Above all else (and it's a lot) I'm Mom to Abby & Atlas. Married to my greatest supporter and friend, Curt. Everyday, I choose gratitude over grief.  #MakeTheTime to create for me, so I can be the very best for all those in my life. My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
