Clean Kids! They took over the master bath the day we moved in and seeing them have this much fun in there, I don’t mind. I think I’ve had 1 1/2 baths ;o) in the 2 1/2 months we’ve lived here. It was a relaxing bath with a mimosa in hand, colorful foam letters & pretty mermaids floating by, lol. Mini-Me & Mini-He have not used their own bathroom once, not once.
Again, I don’t mind. The day will come, way too soon, when this big house will grow quiet and still. No more screaming kids – no more joyful giggles. No more toys scattered about – no more witness to the absolute wonder. The day will come when I will miss the insanity, the insanity that this roller coaster called parenthood has to offer. As I traveled to NY from Alaska on one of my travel alone with an infant Abinator trips, an older woman looked at me and said, “No rest for the weary.” LOL, I must’ve looked beat, and I turned to her and said, “We trade in Peace for Wonder.” I think it was one of my better ones, no? More words of wisdom tomorrow, stay tuned -LOL. ♥Texx aka The Elder

Howdy! Obsessed with all things photography. Love to teach, and heal through this art. #photogHER2Day Coming to you from Austin, Tx. Above all else (and it's a lot) I'm Mom to Abby & Atlas. Married to my greatest supporter and friend, Curt. Everyday, I choose gratitude over grief.  #MakeTheTime to create for me, so I can be the very best for all those in my life. My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
