Yesterday, the children got to play in the truck. Tossing their plastic hats aside, they wanted the real deal. There were no lines or any other children hanging around…This was Mama Bliss! Our local Firefighters workout at the Y. Much to Mini-He’s delight the truck is there more days than not.  Oh, how I fear that my little boy is going to choose this noble but dangerous profession.  I’m sure he’ll sign up right after he’s done his time in The Core. Mama fears, Mama fears.

For now, I’ll enjoy both of them being teeny-tiny for this short while. I’m off to break up a fight between them. Nooooo, don’t throw that shield at your sister! Did I say enjoy this time?…..

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
