These poor geese at a local farm apparently battled infertility issues for 5 full years.  They mate for life, and it took them a while to get it all figured out, but they persevered and this season had 5 healthy goslings!  They all were safe tucked under mama’s large wings, and papa hissed like crazy whenever anyone approached.  Overprotective, but who could blame him?!
