{195/366 | JJ} Near Miss

This has to be the longest storm including lightning and thunder that I can ever recall living in the PNW. Pretty spectacular.  Another thing that is spectacular? The bald eagle that has been hanging out around the past few weeks.  He was perched on a telephone wire for quite some time snacking on a salmon head from the river (I love where I live by the way…).  I perched myself in the doorway, zoomed in as far as I could go and TWICE lightning struck in the frame behind him!! Both times, looked at the screen and nothin’!  Gotta get me a faster camera!! Such a bummer! (It was amazing to see, though.)
