{208/366 | Texx} Window to Light

Took the kids to the pool tonight after din-din, while The Hubs stayed home and recouped from his scorpion sting. If I wasn’t so concerned about him laying here DEAD when I returned; I probably would’ve had a better time.
The children enjoyed themselves in a quasi empty pool and I snapped. Pics of them. Pics of flora. Pics of the loverly ivy flowing through these windows to light.  I fear I’m gonna be up all night (for the next five years) paraniod that my kids are gonna get bit (I mean stung) by a scorpion. Ugggg! I can’t, more vino!!!

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.

    I love the funky angle and the sepia tone! And of course the sunburst. Beauty!! Hope the Hubbs is healing well! Yowza!
