When we moved in the previous owner left some huge maps for the kids.  I decided to add a star to any place we had lived and a circle for any place we have family and hang them in the playroom.  It’s fun to see and it also helps to explain why we can’t go to Grandma’s house today or where your old friend Caleb lives.

It’s a funny thing to see your life steps literally mapped out.  Each place holds fond memories and each place holds a specific place in my heart.  I’m happy that Washington is now on our map.  I would have been surprised to know I’d be living here if you had asked me while I was growing up in Maryland, but it’s a pleasant surprise to say the least.
