{247/366 | Texx} Runneth Over

Tomorrow Mini-me starts school again. We had a busy day today and although it was too dang hot to do it…We went out at sunset for some proper Labor Day fun. I’m gonna miss having my Mini-me around, but probably not as much as her brother will. She’s growing so fast, they both are. Exactly one month from today she’ll be 6, and y’all know I always have a time with those.

Mini-me came downstairs after our shopping trip today and she looks like a full blown teenager. I can’t believe how fast it’s all going. I cherish these days, embrace the chaos  and relish in every moment I see our children becoming more and more –THEM — in all their awesomeness.

Who knew three beings would bring me such joy? My cup runneth over.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
