I love holidays, seasons, and any reason to hang things on the door.  I think I need a year-round, rotating wreath collection.  For now, this $2 find will do for February.  I’m partial to February.  It’s so love-y.  Granted, it’s also my birthday month.  For a long time I thought my birthday WAS Valentine’s Day, which I thought made perfect sense.  My parents either humored me or didn’t realize my delusion.  I also thought my brother’s birthday was the 4th of July, and he was born on the 7th, so clearly I had a somewhat misguided imagination.

Alas, my birthday is not Valentine’s Day, but they are in the same month.  And it allows me to shamelessly hang a heart on my door, which I love.

Welcome and hello from Jacksonville Beach, Florida! I'm Pam. The Blam. I'm a recent import to North Florida from the lovely land of Washington State by way of the Florida Keys. I grew up in a cozy boating town better known as Annapolis, Maryland and try not to venture too far from the coast, if that's not already abundantly obvious. Luckily, I married a Schooner Sailboat Captain.  We've got three hilarious, water-loving kiddos and one sweet, water-despising pup.  My journey with photography has taken me from a 365 project, to momentary portrait photographer, to a career in light chasing and pushing my photography

    On this 1st day of this NEW month, I proclaim, BLAMruary will be the official month the lives between January and March. That wreath was only $2? Nice!
