We walked to the park after din-din and the kids played as this adorable little boy fished. As we were heading out and the sun set, he starting screaming, joyfully screaming… He caught a fish. His first one in that pond. He’d been fishing in the pound, “Forever” and had ne’er a bite until today. It was super sweet to see all the pure emotions from astonishment to pride. So happy I got to snap this, what an honor.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
