{83/366 | Texx} Baby Boy’s Birthday, Bacon Selfie

“Are ya akin’ (yub, yub, yub). For some Bacon (yub, yub, yub)”

(Selfie Fridays) We went to Bacon. Just about The coolest spot around,  for another Mommy & Me date this week. But today was different. Today was Baby Boy’s Third Birthday. I survived, barely. I remember being preggers with him. I remember being tired and sick up until the day he was born. I remember worrying for my entire pregnancy with him…”I’m just not going to love him as much as I do Abby!” I was petrified. How can you LOVE another as much as you do  your first child?

Just as I’d gotten spot-on advice right before Abby was born; “Get ready to meet the Love of your Life!” This is what my cousin said to me in Alaska a few months before he was born, “The Love just Grows!” And it does. Unfathomable, ALL of it. Parenthood, unfathomable. The Love, unfathomable. The Frustration, unfathomable. The Love, unfathomable. LOL It’s an amazing club to be a part of, and I wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything (weeeelll, maybe toilet stuffs on the floor, but anything else 😉 )

Happy Birthday dear, dear Baby Boy. I love you more than you’ll ever know…I’ll try every single day of my life to make you feel how very much I Love You! I can’t imagine our universe without you. Happy Day Atlas!

Howdy! Obsessed with all things photography. Love to teach, and heal through this art. #photogHER2Day Coming to you from Austin, Tx. Above all else (and it's a lot) I'm Mom to Abby & Atlas. Married to my greatest supporter and friend, Curt. Everyday, I choose gratitude over grief.  #MakeTheTime to create for me, so I can be the very best for all those in my life. My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
