Another lifestyle change (NOT resolution) hubby and I have decided to focus on (also, my word of the year…focus) is to pre-plan and prepare meal schedule for the week. Being two working parents balancing all that comes along with it, healthy choices and stress-free evenings were falling to the wayside. We had been defaulting to chicken nuggets or ‘brinner’ more that either of us cared to admit. Sundays are now reserved for planning and the bulk of shopping, so quick stops for the fresh produce during the week will be just that. Quick. And easy. And not requiring much thought or scrambling. My goal is to get my mind, my life, my work and my environment more focused, intentional and less random.
