I was in a tree, lost keys and the Duck greeted me.

I became obsessed with this tree on Raf’s Birthday when the kids threw flowers into the water to remember him.  So, I figured I’d actually join the PhotogTherapy class today and ran out the door to get some dreary pics of the only tree in the area with no leaves. It started to pour as soon as I got there. LOL.

This is straight off the camera because I’m beeeeeeeaaaaaaaaatttttt. As I rolled around on the ground to get the shot, just prior to this one   My keys fell out of my pocket. Changed my mind, just saw this pic of the same tree :o) . I didn’t know so I went and climbed a tree to take some more pics. Started walking back to the car and noticed NO keys. Searched and searched, check and rechecked the car. I ran out the house so I was with no phone, no keys,  meatloaf in the oven, everyone hungry, worried that I’d been taken by one of the friendly water moccasins that live in the hood. Now I can’t post the pics that I took to the Facey Spacey.

Uggg. There are worse things, I can’t wait to see yours from today!

Howdy! Obsessed with all things photography. Love to teach, and heal through this art. #photogHER2Day Coming to you from Austin, Tx. Above all else (and it's a lot) I'm Mom to Abby & Atlas. Married to my greatest supporter and friend, Curt. Everyday, I choose gratitude over grief.  #MakeTheTime to create for me, so I can be the very best for all those in my life. My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.

This is an amazing shot! (Hope it’s okay that I logged in to this site? It was frustrating for me to look at the pics but not be able to comment. No worries tho…I won’t post any pictures, just comments ;O)
