{366} 2012, Blogz, Chandra Achberger

{90/366 | Texx} Stop. Smell. Sunset. Selfie.

Selfie Fridays in da house. Loooonnnggg day.  Drove Mini-me to school. Took Mini-he for his 3 year Wellness check (doing GREAT he’s a perfect Square…40″ tall 40 lbs. wide, LOL). Went to the airport. Picked up Mini-me from school. Friday gelatos. Out to din-din with the fam at the AWESOME Nutty Brown (like me :o). Back home to put kids to bed and hear lotto #’s ;o) At this moment, I’m posting this and got the Kiln fired up for the first time since we’ve moved to Texas. So somewhere in between I stopped to smell the Hibiscus (lol) and take me selfie at sunset.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
