dreary night

Without rain there would be no rainbows. But the sun has already set so it's just wet & dreary ;o)

It’s been rainy & chilly (high today was 40). So, NO, I’m not exaggerating (please note I didn’t say cold). I tried again this eve for 10 minutes of Photog Therapy  and it was a success. The sun had already set and I had to bust out some serious make-shift “manual” skills-to-pay-the-bills. Got a few good sanps. Mostly I’m stoked that, I got out in the rain and got to shot.

I had a hard time picking tonight, mostly because I don’t like the way vertical images appear on our site ~ booooo me. So this is actually my 2nd choice Went back to first choice LOL. You’re gonna see a lot of cross outs over the year.

I will get it fixed, but I fear I have to revamp the theme, so it aint getting done tonight.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.

    Love this picture! It conveys so much emotion to me. Great composition! Super shot, Texx! And 40?! Ladies down there must be wearing their mink, snow boots, and wooly gloves and mittens! Sheesh! You might as well be in WA!
