{96/366 | Blam} Whale of a Tale
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailing man, the skipper brave and sure. Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour, a three hour tour…
My mom and I set out today for a day of girly shopping and left the kiddos with Grandpa, God Bless Papa. I forgot my camera for the sweet ferry shots, but I was very zen. “Can’t have pictures of EVERYTHING,” I kept telling myself. After a lovely ferry ride, we successfully found crib bedding for Baby 3.0 and dined on the best Asian fusion I’ve had…in recent memory. Then we set out for home. Unfortunately my navigation skills are not as dazzling as my looks and we were instantly in the most traffic I’ve seen…in recent memory. I was less zen. Zen and I parted ways. We drove a whopping 2.7 miles in almost 2 hours. 4 hours after we left, we were home. And I’m zen once again. In the country, where it seems I belong.
