{16/366 | Texx} Lame

I’m tired and it just took me a 1/2 hour to log onto to my own dang site. Something about clearing cookies…I ate those muthas up and so I’m back. This is my one of 5 photos I’ve taken today. Spent most of the day getting ready for an impromptu ROAD TRIP, tomorrow. The Hubs wants to see his Dad and we’re gonna mozy on yonder to Arizona.
Today the Hubs got me my B-day gift and it a beautiful 11-16 f2.8 eeeee. I went in wanting a 24 fixed f1.4 but after talking with the very knowledgeable sales guy, he recommended this. Since our cameras are not true to the mm it’s really a 16.5-24mm. We went into this insane photo-shop (get it?) They had EVERYTHING. It was a PhotogHer/He dream come true. So, I’ve changed my tune from, “Husband, buy me jewelery until I stop asking.” to “I will take any and all things Photog until, well, forever.” LOL
So here is my lame pic of a path that the 100’s (not even exaggerating) joggers use daily and it goes past Costco. I didn’t get to it until way after sunset. I wonder where it leads? One day I shall jwalk it.

Howdy! Obsessed with all things photography. Love to teach, and heal through this art. #photogHER2Day Coming to you from Austin, Tx. Above all else (and it's a lot) I'm Mom to Abby & Atlas. Married to my greatest supporter and friend, Curt. Everyday, I choose gratitude over grief.  #MakeTheTime to create for me, so I can be the very best for all those in my life. My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
