Today is my Happy, Happy Day! My personal New Year’s Day, I used to spend the better part of January and most of February ringing in My New Year. Those days have come and gone, and they were frakin’ FUN! Can I get an Amen? I am humbled by the amazing people  in my life; family and friends from my many different walks of life… THANK YOU, for making me who I am. Thank you, for the well wishes. Thank you, for letting me be a part of your lives.

I could never understand why people get upset about having a birthday or getting older.  Many of you have heard me say this before but…You can have another Birthday or NOT (there’s only one way not to have another Birthday). So, I’m thankful for all the wonderful people in my life. Thankful for more moments to make more great memories. Thankful to see my children grow. Thankful for you!

Married to my greatest supporter and friend, Curt. Everyday, I choose gratitude over grief.  #MakeTheTime to create for me, so I can be the very best for all those in my life. My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.

      Stuck a screwdriver through construction paper. I was going to do it in a big piece of cardboard but lost track of time…Ideas for future Bokeh manipulations though, LOL.
