{45/366 | Texx} Be My Happy!

I took standard V-Day photos today with my MomGuyver Aluminium-Foil-Make-Shift-Bokeh-Shaper,  at sunrise. They’re cute.  Got some good snaps of the kids too.  But below you’ll find a 12 minute, hysterical Ted talk on happiness. I know it’s not a pic, and I’ll probably end up posting one later but I’m gonna ride my “Happiness” high horse for now. I’ve always believed that happiness is the only true measurement of success.

About my day: Earlier today I got to experience the most insane Valentine’s celebration at Mini-me’s school. It was the polar opposite of what I’m used to from our little sugar-free, celebration free school in the PNW. The entire school stopped while children stuffed each others goodie bags and faces with sugary treats and gifts.

About Valentine’s Day: So, I must say this has never been a big deal for me. My friends learned a long time ago that I’m not very tender hearted. I remember my single days of going to The Chinese Buffet with my BFF and eating All-You-Can-Eat Crab until we literally couldn’t walk. I remember being lonely but happy and always laughing a lot.

I love all the LOVEs in my life: My wonderful Husband who was/is/always will be the best thing to ever happen to me.  My two wonderfully insane children who completely, complete me. My family who made me who I am, and taught me to always find the laughter and light in any situation. My biddies from The New York Islands to the PNW to the Hawaiian Islands who’ve stood by me thick and thin and now thick (literally) again.  Yesterday I Loved you. Today I LOVE you. Tomorrow I’ll still LOVE YOU.
