This past Saturday the Hubs and I ditched the children at the KidSpa and had a HOT date! Off to the Goodwill (scored some random T-Shirts with witty sayings, the hubs loves so much) and then off to the Nursery (plants NOT babies)…

We got Black Bamboo, Ghost Eucalyptus Tree, some Blue Agave (I  know, I know…Tequila anyone? ;o), some crazy succulents, and da-dana-naaaa A Meyer Lemon Tree! Dat’s right a Meyer Lemon Tree that will fruit soon and smells so DIVINE I want to put it in the house.  Today they got delivered…Raf asked that everyone remember his life by planting a tree. This one will most definately be one of Raf’s Trees! She sits in our driveway keeping the brick wall company tonight, to be relocated tomorrow…Yaayyy!

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
