{7/366 | JJ} Lego mania

Lego mania has taken over the household.  The past 2 days Max and I have worked on a Lego City Marina set.  For the most part, he can follow the assembly directions with very limited help, which is pretty amazing. How did he get so big? So independent? How is he swimming in the DEEP END, where I can’t even touch?!?!  This whole growing up thing is happening way too fast (but it’s super fun!).  I have to say I quite enjoyed playing the lifeguard/surf shop and cafe attendant helping the scuba diver saving the lost surfer today!  Sometimes you have to neglect the laundry, dishes, mopping, etc. and just pretend…

Max and the Marina

Hi,  I'm Jen. I am a natural light family portrait photographer serving the north Olympic peninsula. I love babies, capturing joy, and running around with my two energetic boys. Sunsets, fields of grass or fireweed, rivers, the ocean, my family and friends feed my soul. And also grande nonfat lattes with a pack of sugar....

It is going way too fast. Love the color in the pic. This was “Lego” year here at The Texx household. The hubs spent not 3 or 4 but aprox 12 hours putting together ships -space and sea-, and countless other Lego do-dads. All for Mini-he to tear it all apart in about 5 minutes.

Now, I can’t even vacuum because I don’t know what’s a dang Lego or piece of lint. I’m crazy gluing those bad boys together the next time they resemble a rocket ship or anything really.

LOL Sorry, great pic. I ♥ his little hands.

Arden is obessed with Legos too! I’m mostly amazed how teeny tiny they are, my word!
