{102/366 | JJ} Almost bday boy

Tomorrow # 2 will celebrate his upcoming birthday at daycare with his buddies. Mama made cupcakes, and although I will not be recruited anytime soon to work at the local cake shop (and I really hope my professional cupcake making friend will not see my disaster), the children will I’m sure enjoy the deliciousness that is super-moist.   I am starting to feel a bit guilty, however.  Big brother has always had enormous parties that get way out of control, and I just don’t have it in me. He’s going to have to settle for a ‘school’ party, a fun day on his actual birthday and maybe an aquarium trip soon with gparents and cousins. I just can’t manage to get myself in the mood for a kid party….I hope he doesn’t hold a grudge later in life. 🙂
