{125/366 | JJ} Eyes on the skies

Tonight was beautiful.  We layered up (I was literally wearing tights under my jeans, and 3 shirts under my wool coat) to go to my little guy’s school for their annual ‘all school campout’.  We stayed to play for about an hour, and I was quite impressed with the number of brave souls who pitched a tent to brave the 37 degree low for tonight. We grow ’em tough up here in the PNW!! Missed beautiful evening light, sunset and moon-rise, and a ton of laughs and smiles.  However,  I have to say it was kind of nice not to be worrying about getting just the right shot. My eyes saw all the moments quite perfectly, and it was good.

    Loved those campouts. I miss that community. So, happy you got to savor the moments. I have this same picture just with oaks framing out the Bella Luna!
