{233/366 | Texx} Beauty Berries

I stumbled over these lovelies on the way back home from our SWELTERING midday jog  walk. I’ve never seen anything like them and the bright purple made me think of Blam and her love for purple. Their called Callicarpa Americana or Purple Beauty Berry. They really are lovely and I can’t wait to stroll down tomorrow to snap some more shots. BTW I do think the D60 takes better pics, but it’s a pain in the tookus to use.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
