Today I installed a new ceiling fan in our bedroom. I should probably state that I hate, bad word, I strongly dislike ceiling fans. Alas, you cannot buy a house in Texas w/o one of these dang things ~ something about 104 degree days in the summer yada, yada, yada. Atlas & I picked the new one out yesterday, it has real wood blades and is prettier than the old one. Pic of the Old One —>


<-----------These are the wires, LOL. Please note the extra red wire and very bomb-like looking apparatus that doesn't work, BTW. So, after a few hours I just decided, at least for now, we wont have a remote. 1 speed - Like me...FAST! ;o) ♥ Texx P.S. It's wobbling right now, LOL. Must go in and fix b4 bedtime. The Hubs insists on keeping the dang thing on all night...Woe is me...Woe is me. DIY Momma in da HOUZE !

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
