{12/366 | JJ} Book Nook

While making dinner tonight, the boys took a break from tackling and body-slamming each other to turn the sitting room into a ‘book nook’.  Max rearranged the cushions, fashioned a ‘moat’ out of a few blankets around himself and hunkered down with a few graphic novels (makin’ Dad so proud already….) and beginning readers.  He’s not quite to the reading level, but his pre-reading foundation skills are strong, and I’m getting so excited for the day that he reads a book to us or his brother!
