{350/366 | JJ} Fear Not

Today was glorious.  I got to go participate in a toy drive-work out at my old trainer’s new gym to start the day off right.  On the way home, I was waiting for a short line of cars to pass before turning onto the road to my house.  I saw a woman wave to another car as she passed, and realized it was a co-worker’s wife (who also styled my nails once), waving at my boss.  I then smiled and waved at them both too.  I turned, and drove a 1/4 block to pass a friend and coworker going the other way, and we also passed.  Moments like these make me so grateful to live in a small community.

Next on the agenda was the annual Santa Breakfast at the high school, which was a smashing success.  Both boys walked right across the stage and hopped onto Ol’ Saint Nick’s lap without a blink!  Far cry from Lil Bro’s paralyzing fear last year.

Christmas cards ordered, photos for the fam printed, and a bit of relaxation, which I needed due to a poor night’s sleep due to a karaoke/40th birthday party last night for a friend.  I actually got behind the mic and had a BLAST!!  Holiday spirit indeed!
