Nothing inspires you to play like a child more than snow!  We headed up the mountain, where the sun was shining, it was nearly 20 degrees warmer than at home, and sledded and skied the day away! It was a very rich sensory experience…the smell of warm pine trees and sunscreen.  The warmth of the sun, and the chill of the snow.  The frustration of trying to get my 6 year old to figure out how to make ‘the pizza slice’ with his skis, and the serenity of looking out in the distance at the snow covered peaks.  I took it all in and loved it.
