HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, TEXX!!!   If I was there, I would hug you tightly against your will! 😉  Although I admire your 40 lbs by 40 goal, and personally understand how you feel about not being where you want to be physically, I wanted to extend these thoughts.  No matter if you are 40 pounds lighter, or 40 pounds heavier, or anywhere in between, we (all of your friends), your hubbs, and all your family LOVE you for YOU!!  Your spirit, your determination, your energy and enthusiasm, your craftiness, your humor, your presence….it is always there.  You are always truly yourself, no matter what the scale happens to be saying at that moment.

I wish you the best year, because it is THIS year, and why not?
