As the boys are getting older, I am realizing that I am going to be one of those elderly ladies that has a small lap dog after the  children fly the coop.  I see it all the time in the retirement community that we live in.  I will NOT, however, put a dog in a stroller. No.

In the meantime, I am filling my desire for babies by getting 5 chicks from the farm store! We have been planning on embarking on this adventure for quite some time, and we’re so excited.  Now we just need my husband to actually build the coop….time is a tickin’!  These babies are growing fast!IMG_7986
