Mommy Moment {125/365 | texx}

A selfie in front of my screens. All, in the house, were finally asleep and I had those precious Need-Free (not a sole in the house needed anything from the Mommy) time.
It’s been a while since I’ve taken a selfie and oh my, nothin like 5 chins to motivate one back into 40×40. Woooaaahhh!  This is a  “low-key” style image.  I don’t know why my exif data keeps on getting erased but here it is: 15mm 1.6 sec at f/2.8, ISO 400

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
