The years have come and gone. We will Never Forget.
I can still hear the deafening silence.
The city, ever in motion, came to a screeching halt.
The silence consumed everything and everyone within her path.
We waited.  Waited for loved ones to appear from the rubble.
Numb,  in silence we waited.
Those hours turned into days, and the silence remained.
They were gone – all of them lost, stolen lives, gone.
Too numb for that reality to be understood.
Only room for the silence.

Today you live on in the all that’s lovely, in the wind and laughter.
You are with us always.

Forever in our hearts.
