An afternoon with Tata Harper

This is not my 200th post for the 366, but I promised I’d share these pics with the two ladies in them. So… Today I was invited to go to a luncheon at Neiman Marcus where Tata Harper spoke about her  amazing, all-natural (for real all-natural) skincare line and about things. I was blown away by her ideals and graceful disposition. To simply put it she was/is flawless, inside and out.

Ooo and they served cucumber sandwiches. I ♥ cucumber sandwiches. Why don’t I make those for myself? So easy, healthy and yummo!  Well,  I have a new business woman idol. It was a lovely day. I walked away encouraged to get going on some of my ideas, hopes & dreams.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
