Tall ships came to town. The children were not as into it, and I was worried that I would be too busy looking at/photographing all the details, lines of rope, teak carvings, etc. to adequately supervise them during a tour.
Hubby has been dealing with issues in regards to the irrigation pump. To work around bits of silt getting clogged in the sprinkler, he purchased the mother of all sprinkler heads. 2 minutes, and it's DONE. Efficient.
Not usually a big Sepia person, but for Tall Ships it just seemed fitting. Ahoy!

At least unicorn plants do. We were heading out of the nursery with a cart FULL of great grub for our bees and Atlas spotted this beauty. Behold, Unicorn Plant. Really it's the coolest plant I've ever seen.

We planted extra sugar snap peas this year. They are so delicious, I regret not planting double of what we did plant. And the little "arms" that reach up to grow are fun to photograph. Bonus!
