{134/366 | Texx} MY Day

This was my Mother’s Day 2012. The only thing not in here is our little trip to the community pool. Where, I might add, I was the only Mom present. The pool, as well as, the playground were filled with kids and Dads taking care of those kids. It made me feel good about not being the only Mom in the world that just wanted some down time on Mom’s Day. It made me feel jealous that I was the only one in Austin, Texas NOT getting it, LOL. We had a great day :o)

Mini-Me made this beautiful painting for me. I cherish it! It also doubles as a shield (like pan lids do).

The Daddy, the kids & Buzz Lightyear play Go Fish, bright and early.

The Swallows have hatched, they’re getting big. We saw the babies fly for the first time. I don’t think their parents knew they could fly either. They were in a panic when they came back to check on them. These are all babies b4 the flew away for a second and a half.

Youngins returned promptly and this is their Mommy, happy to see them.

Howdy! Obsessed with all things photography. Love to teach, and heal through this art. #photogHER2Day Coming to you from Austin, Tx. Above all else (and it's a lot) I'm Mom to Abby & Atlas. Married to my greatest supporter and friend, Curt. Everyday, I choose gratitude over grief.  #MakeTheTime to create for me, so I can be the very best for all those in my life. My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
