I am loving the promise of things to come (and the smell) of my lovely little hyacinth perched in the kitchen window.

Wednesday was a very interesting day for me.  I attended a workshop entitled ‘New Year, New You’, led by 3 very different, yet all dynamic and inspirational women who each own life coaching businesses locally.  The major themes were avoiding willpower traps and setting specific goals, visualizing and bringing them to fruition, Additionally, we created a ‘go to’ statement for ourselves for when you feel your actions are not aligned with what you want to achieve.  The coach (who was so wonderfully French) kept hers laminated and tucked in her bra. One of the most powerful statements of hers was this….”Whatever it is you are aspiring to be, you already are that.  If you weren’t, you wouldn’t want it.  Your goal is just to have MORE of it.”  I loved that.

The mantra I created was, “I am a present, accepting, intentional woman.”  I want more of all of that.  (I also think I may add ‘fit’ to my laminated version.  I want more of that too! 🙂
