{283/366 | texx} Goodbye & Thank You

Tonight I found out one of my mentors passed away. He was a talented musician and an amazing teacher. Just another reminder on how short a stay we all  have here. A reminder to make the time to say our please & thank you’s, and to always say our proper goodbyes. I have few regrets in my life but not saying Thank You to a man who had a profound impact in my life; not making the effort to show him that he did the good work and that I turned out pretty okay, that does not sit well with me tonight.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
