The Hubs has been ill since Friday :-(. So, I took the kids to their first Film Screening, by myself. The Austin Film Festival is going on right now and I think it’s soo cool that we have such great stuff to do with the kiddos. The intro was a little strong and music scary for Mini-me, but she wanted to stay. They watched as they sipped on milkshakes and munched on popcorn brought to our seats by the waiter.

I’m glad both kiddos enjoyed both Flatland & Flatland 2 {trailer http://youtu.be/C8oiwnNlyE4}. Mini-he couldn’t sit through the Q&A at the end. Hey he’s 3, so I guess we’ll cut him some slack.  It was fun and I’m happy as he gets older these mommy-only outings have become a lot easier.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
