Here is a ranch down the road, the same road that I took a pic of yesterday. The light was hitting these beauties just right. Abby was passed out, so I pulled over to take a couple of shots.  Remind me not to try new experiments whilst in a rut. This week I’m using solely the D60 & not using me 50 or 24. I’m just not used to it and learning how to Manual Mode with it for PhotoSkool tonight. Anywhoooo, I’m looking forward to Friday when I end this little self imposed project and pic up my  D300s and loverly lenses that I’ve grown accustomed to… Change is good, change is good.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
