{129/366 Texx} Glorious Grey

Here’s a puddle in my backyard. Today was the polar opposite of yesterday (and the day before that, and the day before that, etc. etc.). Today it rained all day long. The temp didn’t go above 68 degrees. Rain GLORIOUS Rain. MY Gloriously Grey!
Never did I think I’d utter these words…Drought, Heat & a Full Moon have made me bonkers. I was the only one today picking up Mini-me from school with NO Umbrella, she the only one owning a Rain Coat. All I could think of was The PNW and how everything & everyone always moves at the same exact speed, in or out of the rain…And, how no one carries umbrellas. LOL.  Here’s me glorious Hibiscus, in the rain.

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
