{291/366 | JJ} Different Worlds
Today could very well go down as one of the most whirlwind days ever for the boys and I. Traveled to the big city to attend a children’s play (so fun) and then headed over to the Children’s Museum, which we had not been to in years. Lil’ Bro had fun drumming and playing in the African hut. When I got home (after missed buses and ferries and a VERY long trip home), I opened up an email sent from the couple who used to take care of the boys while I was at work (dear friends and amazing people). They are currently in Ethiopia for several months and wrote about the schools, doing their laundry in a bucket outside while listening to birds, visiting orphanages and holding the babies and teaching the toddlers English, and just enjoying the pleasantness of the people there. It made anything I might write back to them sound so trivial and silly by comparison. I want to find that peace and joy that radiated from their message.
