Cheapo ~ Macro

This morning on the wondrous place that is The Pinternet I found this cool Tutt pinned to a Pinterista’s Linds-e who’s Blog is That’s so cuegly  Board. Here’s the link to the Tutt: “Macro Photography on a Budget” Have to give rightful Shout-Outs…Because this is KOOL! 

Here are a few shots I took today to escape the insanity that are my children + Summer Break + 105 Degree Heat.  No I don’t Looove bugs they just seem  to find me.  These where shot with my 50 mm detached from my camera, reversed and hand held in front.  The first pic is with the lens on correctly to show you how “Macro” you can get!

My "Why": 10 years ago I lost my brother. He was my best friend, my mentor, my compass.  He got sick out of the blue at the 30 years-old and was an inspiration to many. He traveled the world and never had many images to show for it all. I cherish ALL the images we have of Rafael. Blurry or not, I only wish we had more. I capture images of my everyday. Obssessed with capturing moments of my children, of my life and even my businesses. I believe the only thing that seperates a good image from a great image is its ability to tell a story and ultimately make you, the viewer, feel something.
