Day 9 of 365 ~JJ~ Winter Berries

Hey! I’ve got a theme going on here! 🙂  Mini-shoot day, hooray!  I had 6 wonderful families meet me at the most perfect location for a series of wintery mini shoots!  It was a crash-course in photographing families, to say the least.  They were all AMAZING, unique, and fun.  I had been stalking weather.com, and when I checked the hour-by-hour at 7am, it read 0% chance of rain through the entire time frame!  High, even clouds for 3 hours straight, making the entire sky my softbox.  Lessons learned: stash tissues in my pocket, insert a break after about 3 families, and always bring an awesome assistant/stylist!! (Becky of The Barefoot Seamstress http://www.thebarefootseamstress.com/was invaluable!)  Definitely needs to be an annual event!
