What I’ve learned as a mother?
No words could ever, EVER express the LOVE that I have for my children.
This day (Mother’s Day) it’s not about gifts, cards, acknowledgment from anyone else, It’s about THEM, not me.
My children have given me HOPE; which I’d once lost.
They’ve shown me LOVE, in a way that only a mother can know.
Without them I’d have no PURPOSE, for which to them I’m ‘ever indebted.
This Mother’s Day…Just as I’ve found birthday’s or any other day… It’s not about me (I’ve learned), it’s about THEM.
The LOVES of my LIFE!
At 5 am both of my beautiful (crazy spirited) children were up and at attention, on the side of my bed to greet me with a, “Happy Mother’s Day!”
Mini-me was in shock; the Tooth Fairy had taken her doll, letter and tooth in exchange for a $5er. A happy girl was she.
Mini-he came back into the room 5 minutes after they’d exited with a ring. As the day progressed Baby Boy, would bring me more rings. I wore them proudly all day long. Thank you, my beautiful babes for bedazzling The Mommy. Love you more than you’ll ever know. ♥ Mommy
